Which security course do I need?
It depends on the work you want to do and whether you already hold a licence. Tell us your intended role and current qualifications so we can discuss the relevant training route. Check the SIA’s current training guidance before booking.
Does completing training give me an SIA licence?
No. A training qualification and an SIA licence are separate. For roles requiring a licence, you must apply to the SIA and meet its eligibility requirements. Passing training does not guarantee a licence. See the official SIA application guidance.
Do I need first aid before security training?
Some licence-linked security courses require an appropriate, valid first aid qualification before training begins. Ask us to confirm the exact requirement for your chosen course and whether your existing certificate meets it.
